How We Give Back...

The Wobworld website is a very important tool for early education (ages 2-6 years old). Wobworld provides children and parents with an innovative multi-media experience that brings together next generation education products across traditional and interactive platforms. Today, because of the many informational sources, it is extremely important that a child has a positive and safe “attachment” site that is fun, entertaining, educational, and which properly prepares for the upcoming growing years. Wobworld provides exactly that! Wobworld is proud to present its education curriculum globally to all preschools and elementary educators at no cost. In addition, Wobworld, the animated television series website and mobile app will be featured in multi-languages.

The Las Vegas Review Journal reported that Nevada ranked last in the nation for education. The Silver State landed at 51st out of the 50 states and the District of Columbia. Education Week magazine’s Quality Counts report, frequently used as a national comparison for the quality of public education in each state. Shockingly, the state earned an overall grade of D — below the country’s national C grade. Nevada raked dead last with a D grade. In keeping in alignment with our Mission to Educate, Empower and Motivate students, we see an immediate need to help the teachers to do their jobs successfully and unburdened by extra expenses. We are implementing a program that will benefit teachers across the State of Nevada. Wobworld TAP is a program to assist teachers by reimbursing them for school supplies that they need to purchase, or have purchased with their own money.

Wobworld’s Corporate Headquarters will be located in Las Vegas. We will be bringing a new industry and approximately 150 new jobs to Las Vegas.  The ultimate goal is to open a one-of-a-kind, theme based, multimedia learning center. The Wobworld Learning Center will provide high-quality child care and preschool programs that will help narrow school readiness gaps, which is particularly important for children of color and those living in low-income families. All remaining funds will be extended to those responsible for keeping our children safe, day in and day out, the Clark County School District Police.

We are excited to announce the launch of our new privately funded program, Wobworld TAP. This is our Teachers Assistance Program for the State of Nevada. This program will make it possible for Preschool, Kindergarten, and First Grade Teachers to purchase school supplies without spending their own money.

Based on the report from the U.S. DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION / NCES 2018-097 / Published in MAY 2018 revealed that among teachers who spent any of their own money on classroom supplies without reimbursement, the average (mean) amount spent was $479, and the median amount spent was $297. About 44 percent spent $250 or less, while 36 percent spent from $251 to $500.

The average Day Care Center Teacher salary in Nevada is $32,144 as of February 28, 2019, but the range typically falls between $29,062 and $38,137. Salary ranges can vary widely depending on the city and many other important factors, including education, certifications, additional skills, the number of years you have spent in your profession.

Our ultimate goal is to conduct all of our business primarily in one facility and will be headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada. Part of this facility will be “The Corporate Office.” This section of the facility will be dedicated to Executive Offices, Administration, Finance, and IT Network Operations. The Corporate Office will also house Media, Recording Studio, Preproduction, Production and Post-Production. The Wobworld Corporate Office will bring approximately 150-200 new jobs to

Las Vegas.

Wobworld the Television show and the interactive website comes alive at the Wobworld Learning Center. An extension of the Corporate Office will be a one-of-a-kind, high-tech, multimedia learning center. The brightly colored, learning center will be a state-of-the-art multimedia center that employs the latest in technology.

The planned center will have separate rooms for ages 2 years old; 3-4 years old; and 5-6 years old, to accommodate the different levels of learning. There will also be a section for children with special needs. In addition, children who are deaf or hard of hearing can learn American Sign Language. We will also provide reading to the blind and teach braille to children who are blind.

Children will also learn acceptable social behavior and how to work together as a group. Las Vegas families need access to affordable child care and preschool to support working parents and to ensure that children start kindergarten ready to learn. During the first five years of life, children learn critical skills such as language and socio-emotional regulation, which provide a foundation for lifelong learning.

High-quality preschool and child care can support healthy development and enable parents to work. Unfortunately, too many children are left behind by the status quo. In fact, differences in children’s cognitive abilities by income are evident at only 9 months old and significantly widen by the time children are age 2. Early learning has positive impacts for children, families, and the economy.

The cost of child care is out of reach for families. The annual costs at a child care center in Nevada average $19,085 for an infant and a 4 year old, which is 34 percent of the median income for families with children.Wobworld a nonprofit corporation can offer it’s services to the community at an affordable rate.
